Responsible Play

Lexera is designed around responsible participation. That means clear limits, transparent information, fair treatment of every entrant, and genuine support for users who need it.

This page describes the responsible play principles being built into the platform. It will be updated as additional account-level tools are introduced. It does not constitute legal or clinical advice.

Principles

How we approach responsible participation

Play within your limits

Only participate with what you can comfortably afford to spend. Treat entries as a leisure activity, not a financial strategy.

Understand the competition rules

Each competition has published rules, entry requirements, and closing dates. Read them before you enter.

One account, accurate information

Each participant should hold one account and ensure all personal details are accurate. Duplicate or falsified accounts may be rejected.

Age 18+ participation

Lexera is intended for users aged 18 or over. Users may be asked to confirm or verify their age as part of participation or prize claim.

Transparent prize and draw information

Competition pages show the prize, draw method, schedule and entry routes. No material condition is hidden in small print.

Support if participation stops feeling healthy

If you are concerned about your participation habits, there is support available — from account tools and from organisations outside Lexera.

Age restriction

Lexera is for users aged 18 or over

You must be 18 or over to hold an account, enter competitions, or claim prizes on Lexera. Date of birth is collected at signup and may be verified before entry, draw participation, or prize claim where required by the competition rules or applicable guidance.

If you believe an under-18 person is attempting to access the platform, please contact us at support@lexera.co.uk.

Participation guidance

Keep participation healthy

Prize competitions are a leisure activity. The following guidance is intended to help you participate in a way that stays enjoyable and within your means.

  • Do not participate beyond what you can genuinely afford.
  • Do not treat competitions as a source of income or a way to resolve financial difficulty.
  • Do not chase previous outcomes by increasing spending impulsively.
  • Take breaks if participation begins to feel stressful, compulsive, or concerning.
  • Contact us if you need help with your account or if you have concerns about your participation.

Account controls

Responsible play tools

Account-level responsible play settings will be expanded as the platform develops. Future account controls may include:

  • Monthly spend limit — cap how much can be spent in a calendar month.
  • Spend reminders — receive an alert when approaching a set threshold.
  • Cooling-off period — temporarily pause account participation.
  • Support links — direct access to help resources from within your account.

These tools are not yet active. This information reflects planned platform development. No account controls beyond standard login are currently enforced.
