  • Password credential managed via secure authentication provider
  • Profile details you choose to provide

Competition participation information

  • The competition you selected or entered
  • Skill question response where a question applies
  • Entry records and timestamps where applicable
  • Postal entry contents where a free postal entry is submitted

Prize claim information

  • Identity and contact details required to verify a winning claim
  • Supporting documents provided as part of a claim process
  • Communication records relating to claim fulfilment

Support and complaints information

  • Messages and correspondence submitted to us
  • Supporting documents or screenshots attached to a support request
  • Records of complaint handling and outcomes

Technical information

  • Device type, browser, and operating system where collected for security or service operation
  • IP address and access log data for security and fraud prevention
  • Session and authentication tokens managed by the authentication layer

Payment information (future)

  • When payment functionality is introduced, payment processing will be handled by a third-party payment provider.
  • Lexera does not and should not store full card numbers, CVV codes, or other sensitive payment credentials.
  • Only a transaction reference and limited confirmation data may be retained.

Purpose

Why we use your information

The lawful basis for processing may include performance of a contract, legal obligation, legitimate interests, or consent, depending on the type of processing and the applicable circumstances.

Provide and secure the platform

To operate the site, authenticate accounts, and protect against fraud, abuse or unauthorised access.

Manage accounts and competition records

To record entries, issue tickets where applicable, manage draw participation and maintain a fair competition record.

Handle support and complaints

To respond to your enquiries, investigate concerns, and resolve issues in accordance with published rules.

Verify prize claims

To confirm eligibility, verify identity and contact details, and facilitate prize fulfilment for verified winners.

Prevent fraud and meet legal obligations

To detect and prevent misuse, comply with applicable law, and maintain business and accounting records for the required retention periods.

Send service communications

To send transactional messages relating to your account, competitions you have entered, or prize claims.

Marketing (where permitted)

Marketing communications may be sent only where appropriate consent or preference controls are in place. This functionality has not yet launched.

Third parties

Who we may share information with

We do not sell personal information. We may share it with the following categories of recipient where necessary and lawful.

  • Hosting and cloud infrastructure providers used to run the platform and store data securely.
  • Email and support communication providers used to receive and respond to your messages.
  • Payment providers when payment functionality is introduced, to process transactions. Lexera does not handle raw card data.
  • Identity and age verification providers, if introduced, for 18+ verification or winner identity checks.
  • Professional advisers including legal and accounting advisers where required.
  • Regulators or law enforcement authorities where Lexera is legally required or permitted to do so.

Retention

How long we keep information

We keep personal information only as long as necessary for the purposes described in this policy. Retention periods may be extended where required by law, accounting obligations, active disputes, fraud prevention requirements, or platform security reasons.

Specific retention schedules will be documented before full commercial launch in accordance with UK GDPR and applicable regulatory guidance.
