How to read these rules

General rules plus the specific competition page

The rules shown on a specific competition page are part of that competition. If those rules differ from this page, the specific competition page takes priority for that competition. The following pages also apply where relevant:

01

Scope and priority

These Competition Rules apply to Lexera prize competitions. They explain the general rules for entering, ticket allocation, winner selection, verification, prize claims, discounts, refunds, responsible participation and complaints.

Competition-specific rules displayed on an individual competition page take priority where they differ from these general Competition Rules. Other published Lexera pages also apply where relevant.

Eligibility

  • You must be at least 18 years old and resident in the United Kingdom to enter.
  • You may need a Lexera account and a complete, accurate profile before entering online, receiving tickets or claiming a prize.
  • One account is allowed per person. You must not create or use multiple accounts to bypass entry, spend, usage or promotional limits.
  • Employees, directors, contractors, suppliers, professional advisers and anyone professionally connected with Lexera, plus their immediate family or household members, are not eligible unless a specific competition states otherwise.
  • Lexera may request proof of age, identity, address, residence, payment ownership, account control and eligibility before confirming a prize.

04

Entry routes

  • Paid online entry is available only when a competition is open and the relevant paid entry route is displayed and enabled on that competition page.
  • A free postal entry route is available where stated or applicable. Postal entries must follow the published instructions and include all required information.
  • Each competition page states the available entry routes, entry price where applicable, free entry instructions where applicable, opening time and closing time.
  • Entries are accepted only during the stated entry window and while tickets or entry capacity remain available.

05

Skill question or skill element

  • A competition may require a skill-based question, judgement or knowledge element where stated.
  • Where a correct answer is required, you must answer correctly before the entry can be accepted.
  • Incorrect, incomplete, missing, manipulated or automated answers may result in the entry being rejected or voided.
  • The required skill element, if any, will be shown on the relevant competition page or entry flow.

06

Tickets and entry allocation

  • Tickets are allocated randomly or according to the allocation mechanism stated on the platform for the relevant competition.
  • Ticket numbers may appear in your account and/or in a public entry list where applicable.
  • Ticket allocation is subject to availability, competition caps, per-user limits, payment confirmation where applicable, validation and platform records.
  • You are not guaranteed a particular ticket number unless the competition page specifically offers ticket-number selection.

07

Pricing, discounts and promotions

  • The entry price is shown on the relevant competition page.
  • Discount codes may be available from time to time and may be subject to validity windows, usage limits, eligibility restrictions, competition restrictions and server-side validation.
  • Discount codes cannot be exchanged for cash, transferred for value or applied outside their published conditions.
  • If a discount code fails validation, the undiscounted price may apply or checkout may be rejected.
  • Promotional terms may vary by competition or campaign and are always subject to the final server-side calculation.

08

Entry limits and caps

  • Each competition may have a maximum number of tickets or entries.
  • Per-user, per-household, per-account, per-payment-method or promotional limits may apply where displayed or reasonably required for fairness and fraud prevention.
  • Entries may be rejected, limited or voided if limits are exceeded or if Lexera reasonably suspects fraud, abuse, automation, duplicate accounts or technical manipulation.

09

Opening, closing and draw times

  • Competition pages show opening, closing and draw details.
  • Times follow the timezone conventions stated on the site or on the relevant competition page.
  • Entries submitted or received after the closing time are not valid for that competition.
  • Lexera may pause, cancel, extend or adjust a competition only where permitted by the Terms & Conditions and the competition-specific rules.

10

Winners and draw process

  • Winner selection is carried out from valid entries or tickets only, using the draw or selection process stated for the relevant competition.
  • The draw process is intended to be clear, fair and based on Lexera platform records.
  • Public entry lists, draw information or result pages may be used where implemented and appropriate for the competition.
  • Winner information may be displayed publicly in a privacy-safe way, subject to verification, data protection and the competition rules.
  • A livestream or live draw is provided only where the relevant competition page says that one applies.

11

Claiming prizes

  • Winners must respond to Lexera and complete the claim process described on the Claim Your Prize page and in any winner notification.
  • Verification may include identity, age, address, eligibility, account ownership, payment ownership and control of contact details.
  • Claim deadlines and any alternate-winner process follow the Terms & Conditions and the relevant competition-specific rules.
  • Prize delivery, collection, transfer or fulfilment timing depends on the prize type, verification, supplier availability and any conditions stated on the competition page.

12

Prize details and substitutions

  • Prize details are shown on the relevant competition page.
  • A cash alternative applies only where it is explicitly stated.
  • Lexera may provide a reasonable equivalent or alternative only where permitted by the Terms & Conditions and the competition-specific rules.
  • Unless the competition page says otherwise, taxes, insurance, maintenance, running costs, travel, optional extras, transfer fees and similar costs are the winner's responsibility.

13

Instant Bonus and bonus prizes

  • Some competitions may include Instant Bonus prizes or other bonus prize mechanics.
  • Bonus triggers, prize groups, timing and conditions are shown on the relevant competition page where active.
  • Bonus awards are subject to successful validated entry and payment where applicable.
  • Bonus prize terms may vary by competition and do not override the main competition rules unless expressly stated.

14

Cancellations, refunds and failed payments

  • Failed, cancelled, declined, reversed, expired or suspicious payments do not create valid paid entries.
  • Refund and cancellation handling follows the Refunds & Cancellations policy, the Terms & Conditions and any competition-specific rules.
  • If a competition is cancelled, valid entrants will be handled according to the published policy and applicable competition rules.
  • Refunds, chargebacks or payment disputes may invalidate the related entries unless Lexera states otherwise or the law requires a different outcome.

15

Fraud, abuse and disqualification

  • Lexera may reject, void or disqualify entries where it reasonably suspects fraud, abuse, multiple accounts, payment disputes, chargebacks, false details, ineligible users, technical manipulation, automation or breach of rules.
  • Lexera may request further information before confirming entries, draw eligibility or prize claims.
  • Protective action will be proportionate to the issue identified and will not affect rights that cannot lawfully be excluded.

16

Technical issues

  • Lexera is not responsible for entries not received because of user device, network, browser, email, postal, bank, payment provider or connectivity issues, except where required by law.
  • If a platform error affects a competition, Lexera may take reasonable corrective steps, including correcting records, pausing entry, repeating an affected process or applying the fairest available remedy.
  • Lexera platform records are the primary record of entries, tickets, payments, redemptions, winners and prize claims.

17

Data and privacy

  • Lexera processes personal data in accordance with its Privacy Policy.
  • Personal data may be processed for account operation, entry administration, payment processing, verification, winner administration, prize fulfilment, fraud prevention, responsible participation controls, complaints, legal obligations and record keeping.
  • Winner information may be published only where appropriate and in a privacy-safe form.

18

Responsible play

  • Please enter only within your personal means and treat competitions as entertainment, not as a financial strategy.
  • Lexera may apply or enforce entry limits, spending limits, cooling-off measures, account restrictions or other responsible participation controls where appropriate.
  • Support guidance is available on the Responsible Play page.

19

Complaints

  • If you have a dispute or complaint about a competition, entry, payment, result, winner process or prize claim, use the published Complaints route.
  • Please include your account email, competition name, order or ticket reference where available, a clear description of the issue and any supporting evidence.
  • Lexera will review complaints reasonably and may rely on platform records when investigating.
